Re: little red x instead of photo

Hi Maxwell, i've seen your site. In journal 2 it looks like the photos in trouble have a blank space or an acccent, if you make over them right click, "Properties" on the URL you can read:

    http://www.maxwell-j.ca/Picture%20385.jpg
    http://www.maxwell-j.ca/Picture%20388.jpg
    http://www.maxwell-j.ca/Picture%20387.jpg

The % symbol is shown when there is a space or accent. Look any of the other photos like you with the big bear:

    They don't have it.

I recommend you to name all your files only with lowercase letters and numbers, without spaces, that way it's easier to make changes to your html files and to notice problems.

One more thing, I strong recommend you to resize your photos with PixResizer:

    http://www.vodahost.com/pix.htm

Your photos are really heavy, and the page turns so slow to display, this program it's free and the photos don't loose their quality when you make them smaller.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your site.

Sorry, I think i forgot to say the most important of all:

Al the pages and photos in the links must be exactly the same than the files you have in your server, so that, if the file in your server is:

Picture 20385.jpg is not the same than the link to Picture%20385.jpg

Also you have trouble with journal3.html link and favouritesites.html link;check if you have the files in your www folder and with the exact name, and not with .htm , with upper letters or in another folder.
