  • Password Protect Already Created Pages

I viewed the tutorial but it didn't really help in my situation.

I would like to password protect my entire site (after the initial INDEX page) but if I password protect my PUBLIC HTML folder, then the whole site cannot be accessed - not even the home index page.

How do I go about password protecting my site if the pages have already been created (therefore, I do not want to move or recreate them using new folder extension, for specific passwod protected area - since there are upward of 25+ pages)?

Is it possible? Perhaps move the index page out of the public html folder?

    Thank you in advance kindly...

Hi, don't think it can be done. The other downside is you will have to rename every page/menu link on your site when moved to a newly created folder.

Hi, you have to password protect a directory & publish the page you want protected to the new directory.
        Regards Chris.
