I created a new page but page cannot be found

I've done this before, so I don't know why it's so hard...I've spent the greater part of the day reading threads and watching tutorials. I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I know there's just something simple I'm missing...

I created a new page for my daughter's 18th birthday. I saved and published. I do not want everyone who goes on my site to be able to see this. It's mainly for friends and family. So I want to be able to give them a link to click on. Can someone please help me figure out what I'm missing?

The page I created should be: www.sherrijohnsonministries.com/kaylas18thbirthdaytribute

Needs to have a .html extension if its from a link. I added the .html manually from my own browser and it works.

Oh, that did it. I thought I had already done it. I guess not. It's one of those things where you know you're just missing one little key ingredient.
