Hello! I love using the Blue Voda Web site creating kit! I have one question about how to add a gustbook on your page. I ave tried to view the turotials on it but they keep cutting off in the middle. Also, I would like to know about the Blue FTP they say to download. Would someone please be so kind to write down all the directions aon how to do this. Thank you so very much in advance!:o)

Bluevoda FTP can be found under the
TOOLS Icon in the top menu of your Bluevoda screen.

You can view a video tutorial here (http://www.vodahost.com/tut_bluevoda.htm) (No: 33)
or view and print a Visual Tutorial here (http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/bluevoda-tips-tricks-shortcuts/41359-step-step-visual-tutorials-complete-beginners.html):

Select the page where you want the guestbook (or a blank page)
click on the guestbook icon (left side menu in BV)
Click and drag anywhere on the page to create the guestbook.

Now view the video tutorial here (http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/bluevoda-general-issues/22578-how-create-guest-book.html) for further info.

Thank you so much! You're so kind to help! But have a quick question did all of that entering the guest book into the page but under the tutorial page it states:
Extra instructions:
1. Upload 'guestbookdb.php' on your server using BlueFTP (http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/saving-naming-previewing-publishing/9366-how-use-blueftp.html).
2. Change the permissions of 'guestbookdb.php' to 755 otherwise you won't be able to write data.

You can use the FTP Manager add-on (BlueFTP) to upload and change permissions of the 'guestbookdb.php' file.
a) Login to the FTP server of your website using the BlueFTP.
b) Browse to the folder where you've published the guestbook.
c) Upload 'guestbookdb.php'
d) Select the file and use Properties to set the permissions to 755
You only have to do this once.

*****WHERE IS THE upload 'guestbpookdb.php' file located?

Please be so kind to help! Thank you!:o)

Daniele

If you can use the BV FTP rogram, you will see it on the right hand side when you have connected to your website.

If not, then its back to the video tutorials again or the visual tutorials.
