  • PHP bug messing with WordPress posts

Lately all the html tags get stripped from my posts to my WordPress blog ... I reported it to the developers of my blogging client and they responded that it is a bug in a certain build of PHP ... is there anything I (or Vodahost) can do to fix this issue?

Here is my report and their response.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: PHP bug messing with WordPress posts

Well, no if its a php flaw or bug, theres not really much you can do. It actually looks like a problem with the xml library, and the xml parser. You could put in a support ticket, and if its an issue with many programs, they will likely update sooner. They update regularly... so put in your support ticket and see what response you get. Also.. what version of wordpress are you running? Is it possible that an update MIGHT fix it?

Re: PHP bug messing with WordPress posts

      Hi Karen,

      I'll put in a ticket :)

I'm running WordPress 2.6.3 which is the latest one as far as I know. The problem started while I was still using the previous version so I updated to see if that would fix it ... no change. The bug sits in the server PHP, not the WordPress install if I understand it correctly.

      Thanks :)
