What is a ftp extension?

I just created a blog with google and I can't post it due to an error. It says that my FTP extension is incorrect. How do I find out my FTP extension they say contact my website administrator if I am not sure.

Ftp Extension?... would be found in the php.ini or installed functions of the server, which you dont have access to. Why does this blog NEED a ftp extension? Perhaps you mean your ftp user name and password most likely and if you are using the google blog...they host the blog.. not you. So this would be an error on their end.. not anything with your server or anything we can do.. you will have to contact them.
