Open link in a new window

I am trying to make links to another website and want it to open in another window so my site will still be up when they close that window. I am only finding a check box to open page in a pop up window. I don't want that since most people block pop up windows and they aren't fully functioning. How do I make it open in a new page?

set the target of this link to _blank ... use the drop down menu to make your choice in the same property box that you type the url of the website.
