I got an email that directed me to this thread about naming pages and items to help get linked to search engines - GREAT thread and MUST READ!!!

The question I have is if I have pics published on my site named under their original names and I'd like to change them to select keywords that could assist with the search engine, Can I change them in my FTP site OR do I have to rename then republish?

You can change them in your ftp.. however.. if you do they wont appear correctly on your site.. you need to change them on your hard drive.. reinsert on your pages and republish
