publishing-not responding

HI...I am publishing my pages, and 6 of the pages went just fine, I even corrected some items and republished them, but after correcting two other pages and trying to republish them, it takes forever and doesn't get very far before it tells me it is not responding. I tried to check all the links, etc...what am I missing? Thanks

could be your internet connection... clear cache and temp internet files and keep trying.
