  • Hi all...just joined & have a pressing question!

Just built my first website which all works really nicely but - I have followed the form tutorial to the letter and the form won't appear when I publish it - really frustrating. A friend told me it might be because I had not published success and not successful pages - which I have now done (I think!). Can anyone tell me please - in the forms properties box, where the box to enter the URLs is - there is ./success.html - does the first dot have to remain? Do I have to enter the whole URL including http://www. etc?

    My domain is http://yummystuffinabox.co.uk

Re: Hi all...just joined & have a pressing question!

There has been several posts on this, my forms work with ./success but others have found it does not and simply type in success.html

Sounds more as if you are looking at the wrong version of the page, when you add a form to a page it publishes as a .php. If you had published the page prior without the form it will be a .html and even though you published the new versin the browsers always look for and load html versions first. Type in your web address with /the page.php and see if it is there. If so go into your public_html folder and delete the html version, then the php one will load.
