Please dont duplicate posts. Did you LOOK for this script? do a search.. or even look on google. Im sure you will find a java script that does this.

Drag a HTML box in your page. Make it small, just the space that will display the date.

Paste this code in:

<font style="font-size:10px;font-family:Arial;" color=#000000>
<div id="basicdate">
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
var now = new Date();
var days = new Array('Sunday','Monday','Tuesday','Wednesday','Thu rsday','Friday','Saturday');
var months = new Array('January','February','March','April','May',' June','July','August','September','October','Novem ber','December');
var date = ((now.getDate()<10) ? "0" : "")+ now.getDate();
var year = (now.getYear() < 1000) ? now.getYear() + 1900 : now.getYear();
today = days[now.getDay()] + ", " + months[now.getMonth()] + " " + date + ", " + year;
basicdate.innerHTML = today;
