Link does not work

I have uploaded 3 files using BlueFtp each with a different file extension into a folder in the root directory which I named tradingpa. There are 2 with an MT4 forex trading language extension, which clearly are used only when coding in that language, and one is a pdf file. The three together are in one file in the root directory. I have tried to link them to this page http://www.sitesunion.com/padownload.html, using the chart as the link, ie click the chart and download the goodies from the new URL.
The server does not find my new link which is http://www.sitesunion.com/tradingpa.html.
What have I done wrong please?

2.When I get the link operative how can I make sure that only the downloader uses them and does not plaster them all over the net?

You cant insure it in this manner. You need a program or script to monitor downloads, but even that wont stop them from passing it along. It will just stop them handing out the url
