  • Right Side Bar of Wordpress Disappeared

After doing some research this looks like a common problem, side bar just disappearing.

I did what I read so far, deleted and <div> codes, looked for open codes, and made sure the <more> wasnt inside any other html code but the problem still exist.

I still havent deleted the two post I added that started the problem so I will do that next.

Hoping to find some additional solutions here.

Youd be better posting at the wordpress.org forum. Not alot of people here use wordpress on that level.

Have you checked your Stylesheet (style.com) of your theme?

Check the date on the file and the time.
See if it got modified somehow, recently.

If you scroll down on your post, at the end perhaps right
before the footing (or bottom), do you see the side bar in
the same column as the post?

Other than that, a post does not modify the "structure" of the
theme. If you have a two-column theme, the post and the
      side-bar have their own space.

You can change it by modifying the stylesheet.

Re: Right Side Bar of Wordpress Disappeared

Has nothing to do with the CSS or Styles of your WordPress installation:

You are describing a common problem regarding templates that may not be "widgetized," or, alternately incompatible with the version of WP it was written for: i.e. you can use a theme written for 2.8 on a 1.5 script, but a 1.5 theme will become unstable and dysfunctional if you use it on a 2.8 version script!
Always be sure of the requirements of each Theme before installing, especially if using Fantastico. You may need to manually install the proper WP version in order to use the Theme chosen.

There are a lot more potential problems other than sidebar issues, especially if you attempt to install plug-in's (which will crash the installation altogether). * Also be wary of using any auto-install AdSense/Google Ad plug-in ... they invariably mess up core code by including Google Search along with the ad segment!
