sending HTML code to others

Hello,
I'm trying to send our link to someone to post on their site.
It's a photo with text on top. The HTML code is

<a href="http://www.lescrouquets.fr" target="_blank"><img src="bv03464.gif" id="Shape1" align="top" alt="" title="" border="0" width="200" height="128"></a>

When they put it on their site the link works but the photo and text are blank.
I created a shape, added the image and text and then copied the HTML code. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes.. you must use the FULL path for the picture source

I've done that and I am getting a picture now but it's not the photo I'm using - it's showing one of the navigation bar buttons even although I'm using the code from the photo.
ie the bv03464 which is a photo of poppy fields and houses is now coming up as a navigation bar button with The Cottages written on it. It still clicks through to the website.

I tried resizing the original photo and saving it in Blue voda which gave me a different code. I put this in and then got a navigation button with La Grange written on it.

Any ideas?

Is it this image you want to resize & have the link to? What size are you looking for the image to be. And is the link to your home page? Can be worth going with a Google add size to fit in with others that are out there.

Eventually managed to get it to work - don't know why, but had to reload it and using the same code as before, it now works. Had loads of problems locating stuff since having to change to Vista so maybe it was something to do with that.
