Templates do not download to BV

I am very new to this, so I hope that i am in the correct forum!
i have downloaded BV but i have not paid yet as i assume that i can build the site and then pay and go "live"?
I have watched the template video but my download does not follow the same sequence:
I am using vista / firefox / winzip & BV
open BV
click on templates
click on view templates
click on view templates
click here to download this set
s1.zip download - save file
It is at this point that the sequence changes from the video
winzip opens & it saves to firefox Downloads
click on Downloads and Winzip opens and i "extract" to BV templates
When i click on BV templates - it is Empty!

I am at a dead end so any help would be much appreciated!

If you do the tutorials you must INSERT the template as an IMAGE.

The files themselves are not downloading properly, usually due to poor or 'slow' connection. If you are using a 'home wirelss' connection, you might try making direct wired connection (ethernet) to your modem instead. Failing this, you might try 'resetting' your modem/IP to clean any residual issues >>

This is a connection-related issue on your end, typically due to using a local wireless network OR a modem/IP issue (since both units appear to be on the same network): try powering down your computers and modem for at least 3 minutes, disconnecting your modem cables, wiping the leads down to remove any static buildup on them, reconnecting, and powering back up. This should resolve the issue.

If not, you may need to follow up with a dnsflush to clear IP cookies/application hang to get recognized:

1) Close down all open browsers
2) On your computer click >>> Start
3) Next click >>> Programs
4) Next click >>> Accessories
5) Next click >>> Command Prompt
This will open a black dialog box...
6) Type in: ipconfig/flushdns and hit Enter.....
REPEAT PROCESS ABOVE AGAIN BEFORE RESUMING NORMAL ACTIVITY

If after you still cannot download a non-corrupted folder, you may need to run a "cache cleaner' tool, de-frag your computer, or obtain and use an IDM (Internet Download Manager) which you can download online and use a free version.

First look to see if they are stored as IMAGES.
