  • Please help me get going

I have not uploaded all my pages, I just wanted to get one published and working to see if I had done it right, but I can only get one of the 4 menu features to work. What am I doing wrong. I have four menus to try them out, one works the others dont, and it is not the one I want.
The link info is the same for all.
    I am getting so flustrated.

If you right click and open page I can get it work. I have tried this on four different computers and get the same result on all four of them.

Thank you for your reply. Each menu type has the exact same information and link. www.cstownusa.com/mascots.html. But only one works. Both the index page and the mascots page have been published about 10 times over the course of 4 days. When I do the preview the opposite two work, when I publish the middle one works.

You are trying to do all sorts of things like embed sound , NULL LINKS, and anchors and they ALL open in a new window which you dont want. Delete them all, and just use PLAIN links first then work on the MODIFIED versions that you may need to run in html or javascripted boxes and not the built in bv ones.

Re: Please help me get going

Republishing over and over will not correct your issue.

First eliminate all of the buttons from your page. Then decide on a single type of button you want for your site and use that choice consistantly.

It apears you placed the top and bottom buttons on the page, then the blue oval side bar, and then the center button. Everthing on the page layers in the order that you assemble the page. All three buttons do work when you right click your mouse and force the links to open. So, it appears the transparent portion of the oval side bar may be covering the top and bottom buttons.

You could right click on the blue oval and click "move to back." That would bring your buttons to the surface. But, they do work. So just focus on building your sight; your mascot page is looking good. Once the pages are complete, insert on your home page whatever navigational buttons you decided on. Enter all of the pages just like you did with the mascot page. Then copy the link set and paste it on each page.

That way you only have to enter the addresses once; and you will have all of your links at the forefront of each page. The way you are going about it now will require that you insert each page address separately into each link, which gives more possibilities for errors.
