Spammers hitting my Blog

Hi
I am having trouble with spammers hitting my wordpress (blog). How can I correct this problem. I would like people to sign up in order to post to my blog. Maybe that would cut down on the spam. Or do I just have to deal with it.

Might be worth seeing if word-press has an add on where you have to approve any posts before they go live.

that's exactly right....go to Dashboard & you can change settings to allow only posts from "approved" posters.....

In Wordpress, there is a widget called 'Akismet'. It allows comments to be posted only if the administrator allows a comment. If you add that widget, then you will have no problems.
