  • Where is the recycle bin in control panel?

    I have deleted some important pictures from my website and i was wondering if there is anyway to retrieve them? I heard there was a recycle bin in control panel but could not see it. Anybody know?

    Usually to the right of your screen when in the file area of your control panel. If you deleted via BV's FTP? You don't get a second chance & they are gone for good.

      I don't see the recycle bin in the file area of control panel. Is it in file manager?

            Your photos are "Kaput".

            What about checking your backup folder in cpanel.

                "Kaput"

                As I understand is a German word for "Gone", "Fineto".

                As Chris explained "Gone for good"

                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                The images may however still be in your backup files in cPanel.
                  Once again I'll stress the importance of backing up your files.
                  "Karen's *******tor" (Google it) is the easiest way to back up your files to another location on your computer. It takes a few minutes to set up and you can set whatever files/folders and also determine the time/frequency of the backups. After that it's all automatically done.
                  Of course backing up to an online provider is safer.
                  My BV folder is precious to me. I back it up to 3 different external HD's.
                    Re: Where is the recycle bin in control panel?
                    Right click on recycle bin and choose properties In the Global tab check the box that says "do not move file to R..." no more taking out the garbage.
                    be careful you cannot restore the deleted files
                    Removing the BIN
                    XP offers a very clean desktop except for this one icom RB Ypu cannot remove it by just deleting it or through any menu options In the registry editor goto and delete this data
                    restatr your computer and recycle bi will no longer be on your desk
                    instead of deleting a forementioned code you can alternatively change this code ie
                    645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E to 1 at
                    you have just delete the icon to delete file from recycle bin ie to empty it go to c:\recycled\anddelete the files
                    Thank You
                        hello so you want to find recycle bin in control panel no recycle bin is not in control panel if your deleted item is in recycle bin then you can restore it but if deleted that item than i think it become very difficult for you retrive that data so many recovery software available in market try with that.
