when i insert someones else (URL) into the (window media player)


that i got from the (ACTIVE X) Controls and PROPERTIES) in the blue voda web builder



i believe this is called streaming is it not ?



My bandwith or theirs ?????

If you are running the file from someone elses website it is using their bandwidth.

Streaming is playing a movie or music file from a website.

Using a file on someone else's website is called hotlinking.

,do you mean from my website or someones else website or any website


and is there any way to stop people from hot linking onto my website?


and when you say file do that mean a video or a radio station from someone else website that i have playing on my website

1) any website that is playing a video or music file from it.

2) In cPanel, there is an option called hotlink protection, you can disable all website except for the ones your specify from hotlinking

3) File is a general term, it can music, video, radio, podcast, and even things like word documents, html, pdf, exe....
