what is anchor test? what is bookmark?

Hello,
Can somebody please point me to a tutorial where I can understand what is anchor text? How do you create it? How it is used for SEO
Also what is a bookmark? I see it every time I want to create a new page but I do not know what to fill in that space.

Anchor text is the hyper-linked words on a web page - the words you click on when you click a link. It's a good practice to explicitly use the text explaining, in a short sentence, what the user is expected to see at the destination page. Don't use something like 'Click here'.

Bookmark or page anchors are when you want to go to a specific place on the same page or on another page. Obviously, you can control that for your website but you have no control over external pages. When external pages have used bookmark, then you can use it too from your website.

I understood the anchor text, but still did not understand what the bookmark means, or what I can type in where is says bookmark when I am creating a page.
