  • form not working properly

I have a form on my website but after revamping and changing to W7 and upgrading from BV10.2 to 11.4M Parts of the form are not working well. I can send a message and it is received and the thank you page pops up. But in the parts asking for first name, last name, email address and home address you are not able to enter anything at all.
when I set it up there was a really good tutorial with step by step instructions but I can't find it now. Can you help please.

    Thanks,

    sarah

          Hi WS Blue

The file extension is already php. But i don't get the patt about deleting the contact.html.
I saved the page as contact.html because it has other stuff on it but when I go to properties the file extension is php.
I s****ped the form and re did it but now I can't get it to update on the website. The one you see is the original one from a few years back.
Do you have any other suggestions?

            Re: form not working properly

You have published, in your site, BOTH contact.html and contact.php

However, your menus are pointing to the .html page.

Change your menus to point to the .php page and delete the file contact.html from the server.

              Re: form not working properly

              Hi navaldesign,
I tried to change the menu to .php on page zebedee.edu.hk/faq.html and the form works now. However I only get an error code 404 for the thank you page 'your message has been sent etc'
zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.html I see the file extension for this page is .php also.
Can you let me know what to do now,

              Thanks

              Sarah

                Re: form not working properly

                copy and paste this
                zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.php or
                zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.html
to the Form properties at Success URL

thank you page no need to be in php

                  Re: form not working properly

you have both pages being published in html and php
http://www.zebedee.edu.hk/contact.html (go to FTP and delele this)

your menu Contact us still link to http://www.zebedee.edu.hk/contact.html , change it to http://www.zebedee.edu.hk/contact.php

                      Re: form not working properly

you also have both of these pages published :
                      zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.php
                      zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.html
delete the one from FTP that is not in the Success URL in the Form properties

                        Hi WSBlue
I have deleted the thankyou .php from the FTP and also the excess contact.html. But I am still getting the error 404 page.

                          Re: form not working properly

http://www.zebedee.edu.hk/zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.html (you are using this now which is incorrect)

                          http://www.zebedee.edu.hk/thankyou.html (use this)
