Rich text and insert link in email

Hi
Is it possible that image can be set as message background and links can be insert in email? I have been using these options with secure server work mail. But in squerrel mail and horde mail I could not find even the rich text.
If anyone knows please let me know. I need this option for email marketing purpose.

My computer is not showing any icon of rich text though i ticked it in horde mail.
