  • Creating a master webpage using a php extension (4 parts)

    Hi,

I was given this link created by Navaldesign

It's a great way to build your website, I recommend it.

    My website is www.backyardvillas.com

I have followed all the instructions and the pages all come together to form the index home page, like magic, although none of the links seem to work on the left side column.
I have also noticed that the navigation buttons when you hover over them don't change color as they do in the preview and you can't click on them either.

    Any suggestions???

    Cheers Rob

You can try clicking on the html box that holds your navigation buttons & bring to front. Then save & re-publish.
Not sure if others have the problem? But my browser freezes when i try to click on your link.

Beautiful website, but I agree you should right click the button and press bring to front if that doesn't work then publish only html and that should work, if that doesn't work also, then just delete the page and then republish it and that should absolutely work.

          Hi all,

Thanks for your comments much appreciated.

I have only published the ''index home'' page and ''about us'' page at this stage as I would like to rectify my problem.

I have tried to bring html boxes forward and yes this works although only the html box that is placed forward will show links.

Have also gone into ftp bvp control panel deleted the files, then republished but still same problem.

I don't seem to have any freezing problems on my browser using google chrome.

I hope someone else can help me or it looks as though I'll have to go back to creating individual pages again, this would be a shame as it's a great way to construct a web site and keep it updated.

Cheers and thanks for the help,

          Rob

Your About Us works but you have to define your URLs.

It seems for your image, your Normal is the same as Hover.
It seems for your text, your Normal color is the same as Hover color.
Change your Hover color for text and you should see the change.

"You ain't got 'no' URLs defined".

Take one step at a time starting with the index page.
However you have done your About us page, do the same
            for index page with URLs.

View your source file and see what's going on.

            Are you doing this?
