How do I upload Manuals?

Sorry if this has been covered.I am trying to look at the possibility of being able to call up manuals from the website.There would need to be a password so as to allow the manuals to be seen.What is easiest method of doing?..Thanks for any help

Open a new folder in cpanel and name it "manuals".

Upload the manuals using BV's FTP in Tools on the toolbar to the above folder.

Then go to cpanel and protect the "manuals" folder by applying a password.
The folder can only be opened with the password.
