I came across this handy bit of software: Gyazo dot com
Make your selection, Copy the URL (http://gyazo.com/9dbc91001fe668e373764c70b5ab7deb.png) and paste wherever needed.
The link shows a screen copy of the software website.
Here's one (http://gyazo.com/f597db9774fcc7d3fcc262bf159b457c.png) of a portion of my desktop.

A bit more info on the above tip.
When you make your selection/capture it will automatically be loaded to the software's website and open as a new page on your browser.
From there you can copy the URL and post it (http://gyazo.com/dafb458bc5e0ff18163fb96115cb59f8.png).
