Problems with Lightbox & iframes

I'm trying to use the lightbox feature, only my gallery is inside an iframe.
The lightbox will open the image in the iframe which is not big enough
to cover all resolutions, instead the lightbox images should hover over the entire site. Any solves?

I've tried implementing lytebox, which is said to support lightbox with iframes better but I can't seem to find how to implement CSS code on my page so that's also not working for me.

The Lightbox will automatically create a thumbnail which you can resize and the size of the photo opened will be dependant on the original size of the image.

The only way to make the image open to its original or intended size is to place the thumb outside the I frame.
