I can't think of any that do off hand. Star Trek annoyed me after a while, because they were going all over the universe discovering all these new things about science, but we NEVER learn't anything new from it. -

Close Encounters (unedited version) maybe??Never measure the height of the mountain you're climbing. At the summit, look back and see how small it really is!
