Re: 404 not found is what its showing

You have confused the proper relationships between LINKING, PUBLISHING, and CREATION of add-on domains.

If you have properly created your Add-On domain in your Control Panel according to the Tutorials, and your page is "freestyles" then the link to that page looks like: http://www.streetarena.tv/freestyles,html

To PUBLISH that page, you will need to change the Publish Dialog Box to look like this: public_html/streetarena
(and according to which type of cPanel you have, sometimes you may need to add the .com to look like this: public_html/streetarena.com)

So .... if you created your Add-On properly, Saved your Page properly as "freestyles" and then Published properly, the page should in fact be there.

I see you have a Realistik Freestyle video on your Index page, but no navigation to any page listed as "Freestyles" ...... placate me by first adding 'Fresatyles' to your Menu, to your site Navigation, and then re-publishing your page. Let's see if that is what you are trying to do, and so I can have a path to follow to see where it goers wrong ...

Re: 404 not found is what its showing

It depends how you created your addon domain.
There are different versions of Cpanel.
        You would publish to public_html/streetarena.tv
        OR
        public_html/streetarena
        See which way works.
The "other" way to publish your freestyles page would be to:
        public_html/streetarena/freestyles
By publishing as you described your freestyles page was published to your main domain.
The public_html/streetarena method is much easier.

Re: 404 not found is what its showing

it will't let me save the add on unless i put the tv on the end
          like this public_html/streetarena.tv

when i made my index page i saved it as that made a index sub domane
          and published it
          i keep getting this eror
          Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

index sub domain? I don't understand this term....
You would publish the new index page to
            public_html/streetarena.tv
Did you purchase the domain name from VodaHost and then point the domain to your name servers?

Re: 404 not found is what its showing

I think you mean that you made a new folder (sub domain) and put the new index page in the new folder (on your computer)
A sub domain is completely different than an AddOn domain.
You have an AddOn Domain correct?

Re: 404 not found is what its showing

We've been through this ... (across multiple threads) ... the domain (and path) works as it has been said.
I've already pointed out the differences between the Add-On domain and a Sub-Domain, as well as detailed how to publish to each .... including the optinal manner required from both cPanels. ..........

We've already gone over the differences between domain types...

Differences in Domain Types via URL Examples:
                http://www.PrimaryDomain.com
http://www.AddOnDomain.com which is an actual registered domain with Nameservers set at your VodaHost account
http://SubDomain.PrimaryDomain.com which is a fully functional non-registered domain created in your cPanel as an independent site (directory) in Main Account

... how to create the proper type of domain directory ... >> (Control Panel Tutorials, v.X3)
VodaHost operates both X and X3 versions of cPanel. Customers who joined after November 1, 2007 are on X3.
Adding an additional add-on domain name to your account
                Creating a sub-domain ( A sub-domain is not an add-on)

                And ... we've already discussed how to PUBLISH ... >> http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/347454-post3.html
The method of publishing with Blue Voda to Add-On domains and Sub-Domains is virtually the same, by making simple changes within the Publish Dialog Box:
(Primary Account Domain) public_html/ .........<--- leave blank
                (Add-On Domain) public_html/addondomain
(Sub-Domain, as shown on Primary) public_html/primarydomainname/subdomainname
Publishing your web pages on the internet

...as well as how to best link pages ... >> http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/347454-post3.html
                * To link page-to-page in this new site - if an add-on - the linking method is exactly the same as when using your Primary domain, as it has a unique domain from which to find the hosted site:
                i.e. http://www.AddOnDomain.com/next-page.html
                * To link page-to-page in a subdomain, you will need to follow the same logical structure, only adding the variables as required:
                i.e. http://Sub-Domain.PrimaryDomain.com/next-page-title-here.html .

Linking your pages together (Hyperlinks with text, images etc...)

Now that the terms are clear and the steps outlined, there seems to be hints of further problems .... most likely with a local system (computer) and the inability to process properly either the browser, connection, or version of Blue Voda....since my question as to likely confusion as to which actual folder being published to went unanswered .....

THAT is what needs to be explored, given all the above is properly addressed and understood to be the case.

You can try a couple of things, insofar as it seems to be a local problem isolated to singular computers:

                A. Be sure to update your Java for your computer, for your broswers depend on this to function properly.

                B. Clean out your Browser cache and temp files and try again.

                C. Reset your modem by powering down your computer completely for at least 3 minutes, turning off and disconnecting your modem (3 min. also), wiping the cable leads off to remove any residual static charging (ionized dust), reconnect, power everything back up, and THEN try again.

                D. You may need to follow up with a dnsflush to clear IP cookies/application hang (which may be preventing the page from loading):
                1) Close down all open browsers
                2) On your computer click >>> Start
                3) Next click >>> Programs
                4) Next click >>> Accessories
                5) Next click >>> Command Prompt
This will open a black dialog box...
                6) Type in: ipconfig/flushdns and hit Enter.....
REPEAT PROCESS "D" ABOVE AGAIN BEFORE RESUMING NORMAL ACTIVITY

And lastly, if you are a McAfee and/or AOL customer and are getting a 12029 Error Message repeatedly after disabling your Firewall as normally instructed, this post may be a solution you can use effectively to resolve your connection issue >> http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/243574-post1.html

If attempting all the above methods to resolve your local issue are unsuccessful, you may also Submit a Support Ticket describing your issue in detail to see if there might indeed be a manner in which to resolve things on the server side.

Re: 404 not found is what its showing

i saved the add on domain as street arena.t
then i saved my page as index
i publised the page as streetarena.tv
                  and it works

but the support ticket i sent said i cleared all my folder that i would need they put them back for me so i dont think it was just a publishing problem
