View Full Version : Do you support streaming media video/audio?

We support media streaming over HTTP.

To accomplish this, you would create a .ram file that calls your actual audio/video file.

In your .ram file (or metafile), it should contain an actual address with the media file, such as: http://yourdomain.com/filename.rm

The above address goes in the .ram/metafile, not in your HTML code. Your HTML code calls the .ram/metafile.

Hello, I'm trying to add a video clip to my website (streaming). I've followed your instructions on the note and the clip doesn't play. With the BV preview button it works fine, however at the url it won't come up. I've read through all related posts about video clips and other step by step and I can't seem to get the clip to play. Does anybody know how to upload and stream a video clip on BV and have it work. Appreciate any help.

Have you uploaded it to the server?
What format is it in?

Yes, three files all in public.html. Play.wmv (video file), index.rm (html file), play.wax (meta file).

File is a windows media audio (wma) with slide show - created with muvee. I wanted it to start playing automatically as soon as page is brought up (streaming) not having to wait for download.
