I have read the article "How to make the googlebot love ya!" with interest and just need clarification. I hope this is the write thread to ask.
Text links - does google love it more than button text link or does it not make any difference?
Image - say I have a picture of the german shepherd I want to show on my website and people click on it. I understand that I must not place text inside it as googlebot doesnt like it so is it better :-
a) to use text link "german shepherd" to the image of german shepherd and
b) right click that image and add in alternative text "german shepherd" via ALT tags?
When I upload the image the saved file say only has number code is it better to name the image "germanshepherd.jpg) or does google not bother with the file name?
