  • Double URL publishing & form not showing on published page

Hi I have a few issues with my page that I cannot figure out...

    1. I have created a form on my index page, changed the extension to a .php - when 1st published, text came up on the back of my page which was related to the form... I deleted the form and this text went with it, however although I have re inserted the form and republished it the form does not show on the published page... I did copy and paste the form from another page, would this affect it working?

2.When the form was there - I tried it out and sent a dummy - however it would not send?? Any ideas on this? An error message came up.

    3. I also have 2 links on the page (one is an html and one a php extension). When hovering over the link the URL of the website reads http://www.junglelane.com/www.junglelane.com/about.html how do I remove one of these URLs, as I assume this is why there is an error. In the published preview this shows as it should http://www.junglelane.com/about.html

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Re: Double URL publishing & form not showing on published page

    1) Here is your index page with the form http://www.junglelane.com/index.php. Because you have a index.html version still live you will need to delete it from the server. Go in via Bluevoda's built in FTP

    2) Worth checking that all the elements that need to be on the form are on the form area and not slipped off..

    3) Go through any buttons or text where you've added a link redo them as they should look ie http://www.junglelane.com/about.html.

    I hope this helps

Re: Double URL publishing & form not showing on published page

Thanks so much... I am sure this answers all the questions as the .php version is there as per the link above and all other links on it work. Just need to deal with the server.

      Much appreciated!

The tutorial below illustrates how to access your remote files (actually covers uploading..but thats OK)

As soon as you connect you will see all your site pages on the right. Find index.html and delete it. By doing this when someone types in your website address the index.php version will be shown.

        All the best.
