Adding Remote Access Database

Hi,

Very new to BV - seems like a great product, as I really know nothing about designing/building a website - but I'm having a go.

I'm in the early stages of establishing a typical "trader" style site, ie, people become members, list items, others browse, they find each other and (hopefully) - bingo - a sale! Pretty common stuff on the web...

Am I dreaming believing that BV can do this - is remote (ie, member) access site development possible using BV - also, I guess I'm in effect developing a database in regards the products they will list?

Can I do this or am I looking at a Freelance type job here? IF so, could you give me a ballpark figure for someone building me a basic trader style site?

Any thoughts, feedback, suggestions welcome - thanks in advance.

Such a site needs to have a Database driven backend , although BV can be used for the visuals.
