quicktime movies not publishing

Having real problems with this one. Hoping it's something simple. I can publish movies with Windows Media Player and my youtube links work. But if I try to publish them as quicktime, the system crashes. Any thoughts?
I'm trying to lose the controller (which I can do in quicktime) but it shows up on the media player as you can see on the top of the page:

You can't have it both ways: either prepare your files as MPG or WMV and have them available formatted properly for the player you present.
