Deleted Index in CPanel by mistake. Error550

I made a mistake & deleted index file for an addon domain. when I check the addon domain in CPanel public_html/thedomainname.org It says "This directory empty"

I thought that I could publish the index file again in BV but when I try to it says

error550 Can't change directory to public_html/thedomainename.org:No such file or directory

the web address is/was http://laughline.org There were several pages but links are broken.

Does anyone no if there is a fix or do I remove the addon and start again?

It was an addon to http://rosaliejcronin.com

Review this post to clearly understand the structure of Add-On Domains and how to publish and link accordingly.

You need to publish as:
public_html/rosealiejcronin.com/laughline.org

(keep in mind, some servers require, and others omit the ".com" and the ".org" so try both if in doubt)

Interesting, I will remove the addon and start again, as the option that I thought I would need to follow.
