Logo not publishing in IE8

I have been redesigning our website and all of a sudden the logo does not publish in IE8. I have been testing pages for the last month and no problem. The test page publishes correctly in Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari, and used to in Internet Explorer 8. I checked our index_test page where it did publish correctly in IE8 and that is now also a problem???

Change it from a PNG image to preferrably a JPG or alternately a GIF.

Often PNG images will not render properly if using iFrames or other scripts (including Lightbox) on the same page, or if the page file size is "heavy" with images or media links. It has a lot to do with a lingering 'pngfix' issue in IE, which should not be still happening, since you're using IE8.

Make sure you are dumping your Temp files in your internet history and browser cache religiously .... using PREVIEW a lot in BlueVoda tends to add to the problem, and keeping your system lean and "refreshed" helps to avoid the issues.

Hi Vasili,

Definitely a 'pngfix' issue. I do clean my temp files regularly, but just to be on the safe side I cleaned it again and no change. Upon changing the image to a JPG, it publishes perfectly.
