Is it possible to make a vertical line of defined thickness or rotate an horizontal line ?

Yes. Click on the shape icon. It will open a square with pul tabs all around it. Move the tabs in to create a line the thickness you would like. Then pull it down to get the height you desire. Double click and choose color and/or border.
