pop up for catalog

Hi,
I saw the threads for pop ups,but thats not exactly what i am looking for.
instead of having a pop up of a webpage, I need a pop up for my catalog

It should be something like this,
I am going to have catalog pages scanned,when my visitors browse through the catalog pages and point to a products,there should be a pop up with the bigger fonts of the same image(a square looking)on the right hand side of the pointer,which in turn when clicked will take the visitor to that item on the shopping cart.

Anyone please help me.

This is not a popup, at least if i understand well. This is a thumbnail of the product. Just create thumbnails of your products, and link them to your cart. Just associate the thumb to the Paypal (or whatever other cart you will use) "Add to cart" code

I will be scanning my catalog pages as jpg.
how do i create links for individual products?
