Linking two websites together

Hi could anyone tell me how to link two websites together?
I am currently building a website for a real estate company in turkey and after i will be building one for a hotel [same ppl own both companies] so i want a link ppl can click onto to get on the other website, my aim is to advertise both websites e.g. if someone is looking for property they can click the link if there interested in the hotel also, does this make sense? Iv got no idea how to do it!

Also would anyone like to swap links, if they have a property website or holiday website?

Nicole, You can link to the websites in many ways. You can make a text link - by simply using any wording you want and then highlighting it and using the hyperlink tool in BV - tell it the page of the other website you want to have open.

You can add a banner to the other website.

You can add a picture and for the page that will open, put in the page of the other website. BV makes it simple, cuz you don't even have to type all the html to do any of this.

I hope I am not breaking the rules here by adding another post, but I found the hyperlink tool.

I wrote the text for the site I want to link to, highlighted it, clicked on the tool, add the url for the other site. Then I tried to verify the link, but
it says I have no links.

I do not know if I want blank, parent, whatever...
is this where I am going wrong? Do I need to save and publish first?
