Hey

I have installed Joomla 2.25, and I uploaded a template onto the server. I have been told to change my table prefix to joomla_ and when I do that I get locked out of my admin site.

Does anyone know why this happens?

You did not properly install Joomla manually as per instructions, most likely, and have not activated the Template Manager option. Refer specifically to the detailed instructions for Manual Installations as documented on the official Joomla Website (http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1944/302/).
Follow the instructions that came with the template pack (usually furnished in the pack as a ".txt" file) for additional particular requirements for manual installations.

VodaHost does not offer support for 3rd party products or installations, including manual installations of Joomla.
