    internet excerption error 12031

    hello everyone.
    i know this question has been discussed before but i am hoping for some insight.
    when i go to publish a page i get the error message above.
    here is what ive done to try and fix it:
    cleaned my computer. it now works better than when i originally built the web site.
    i tried two differrent ethernet cables.
    i tried no cables-wireless.
    reset the modem several times
    reset the router several times
    turned off the computer several times
    and still the error message each time i go to publish.

    does anyone have any ideas??

    12031 Error
    A 12031 error means that the connection to the server was reset. If you are using a wireless adapter, the adapter may have lost its association with the access point. If you are using a modem, the network coverage was lost. Keep trying to up/load files. You also may want to try the below work around for connection time outs:
    1. In windows go to Start, select run and type: Regedit
    2. Find this key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BlueVoda 7\BlueVoda 7\Publish\
    3. Add a new DWORD value with the name ConnectionTimeout
    4. Enter the value in seconds for example 360 (default is 30)

      still cant publish

      Hi Im at www.travelingtoddlers.com. I have asked this question before but lost the thread with the answer.
      I cant publish a page. The error message says that the connection with the server has been reset.
      How do i fix this again?
      Please help

          Thanks vasili, i followed your instructions to the letter and made the changes but it still will not publish.
          Is there anything else i can do?
