Text box not showing up when clicked on

Hey there folks. Long time BV user all of a sudden having an issue. Whenever I try to add text to a page and click on the Text icon in the tool bar, nothing shows up at all...I cannot find any text box anywhere and I have gone into the Tools>Options> Text options and ticked the various boxes and still nothing showing up. Any ideas? I am running a newer computer with Windows 7 Pro and an 8 core processor with 16 gigs of RAM so I am pretty sure my machine is fine.

Windows7 has always presented peculiar issues, so the best you can do is: 1. re-install BlueVoda to over-write any corrupted files; 2. be sure to 'Whitelist' BlueVoda; 3. follow the new protocols regarding use of BV12 and later versions.
