I designed a site in BV.
I need it to be a small web store. (Under 10 Items)
Please advise as to: Can I just add OsCommerce for the store page or use Soholaunch for the store page OR, do I need to start all over from scratch when I use Soholaunch?
Confused

Soho and OS Commerce work in their own programs. You can use other shopping carts with your BV site tho. Some here use mal's ecommerce, others use paypal, I use a program called Cart Manager. Lots of us have found these because we love BV and want to have our stores on BV pages.

Thanks Beth,
I checked out Cart Manager.
Is it menu driven or do you have to know some HTML?
What's the cost?
Thanks Again

Hi Bill,
You have to get Cart Manager through a reseller - I'm setting up to do it at their cost for people whose websites I work on - would be happy to do the same for people here who might want it. You do NOT need any html knowledge for it (unbelievable, eh?) just how to copy and paste. It has incredible options for shipping, variations, etc. As they purchase on the Cart Manager site you don't need an SSL either. The initial cost is $99. The monthly cost for the standard (which is what I use on A Child's Palace) is $10. Maximum monthly cost is $20 - which includes lots of extras.

You fill out the info for each product, it generates the code. Now, if you have html knowledge - or even get to understand the codes, you can take a code and change it yourself. But you don't have to. For example, I have some products with the same variables - I made one then changed the code as necessary for the others. But I'm comfortable doing that.

Any other questions, just ask.

htis topic is just what I've been searching for.
My question is I do not like the options for the webpages in soho, but is there a way to still use OsCommerce without using SoHo? if not can anyone reccomend a shopping cart I can use with BV?

You can use oscommerce shopping cart or cubecart.
First install them in a directiry via fantastisco then link all your shopping
pages to that directory.
as I am doing;
have a look_

You can use BlueVoda as your Frontend and Soholaunch as your
backend. This is pretty easy to do and you won't have to pay any'third party fees.

UPDATE!

Blue Voda has included a PayPal "Cart Creator" within Blue Voda itself since this thread was originally created, and for less than 100 items being offered, it is the ideal way to use Blue Voda to design your website and sell items easily from!

Please see the PayPal Forums and Tutorials for details.
