View Full Version : Google Tracking - where to insert?

I have looked at the sticky on Google Analytics, but as the sample script there was not the same as I have been given for tracking I just want to double-check where the code I have been given should go.

The code I have to insert is:

/* */
var google_conversion_id = 1003168973;
var google_conversion_language = "en";
var google_conversion_format = "3";
var google_conversion_color = "ffffff";
var google_conversion_label = "rIykCJuKhlkQzcms3gM";
var google_remarketing_only = false;
/* */

<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt=""

I'd appreciate being pointed to where this should be inserted on my 'contact form' page.

Many thanks

You are not being specific enough: there are many codes available to track "conversions" of different types.

The differences are listed on this page (https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722054?hl=en) (with each type in an "expandable" listing -- click on the "+" symbol).

For instance, if this code was generated for the first application ("Track Conversions on a Website"), the "expanded" instructions could not be clearer on where to paste your unique generated code: "2.2: Between the body tags (

) of the page, paste the code snippet you generated in AdWords."

Thus, in BlueVoda, you will right-click on your Page to reveal PAGE HTML and click on the INSIDE BODY Tab where you will paste this code complete as generated.

Thanks. I'll follow that through.
