  • Thumbnail links

    I just found this excellent bit of code that will put thumbnails on your page and open them in a new window when you click on them. Its not exactly a professional photo album type thing but its easy and good for posting images.
    Change the height and width to suit.

    <a href="xxxxx.gif" target="_blank">
    <img src="xxxxxx.gif" width=100 height=40></a>

                Roy, just spent 1/2 playing with the html box, a pic, front/back, right click html before, inside and after tag. I'm lost. Can you explain "just a little bit more" on this. How/where do you use/add this html code. The box or is there another spot to add this code.

                I have the pics, have your code, now what? Ok, I'm gettin' some tips here but this one's got me :(

                  Re: Thumbnail links

                  You use the insert html icon, which is the top icon on the left side of the BV website builder.

                    Royb:

                    This code will be very handy for pics on a page that will be changed often. A handy bite of HTML that wont replace a gallery, but nice for times you don't need a gallery or In=frame.

                    Thank you

                      Re: Thumbnail links

                      Please note that the built in BV gallery does excactly the same thing, and it IS BUILT IN. If you only want one thumbnail, set the gallery properties accordingly.

                        Thinking about adding a pet of the week image to the Index, and thinking about it, the image box would be easier. Sorry I haven't studied

                          Re: Thumbnail links

                          Just install a gallery (from BV directly), set the rows to 1, add one image (that of the pet of the week), and choose if you like it to open in a new window or in a popup. It's much easier.

                          Choosing an email instead of a form, is a personal choice. If you need just a contact, an email will do the job. But if you need to gather certain info, a form is better. As i said, it is a personal choice.
