Imagemap help? (V8)

I have just downloaded BV V.8 (fantastic by the way!) and noticed the ImageMap button. It looks really interesting and I really want to use it, but the only thing stopping me is that I haven't got a clue what it is or how to use it. I know it's a bit of a general question but could someone please explain this one to me LOL
