  • Web Ring Issues !!!!

I belong to many webrings for the promotion of my business.

One of the issues that has come up is in relation to the webrings html code that is to go onto my website/domain.

I have tried to add this code to the website but after it has been placed onto the respective page, it does not appear to show on the website.

Any help in getting this web ring html to function on the website would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Maybe post a snipet of the code or the instructions they have so we can take a further look.

Andy this is the error page I receive when sending you the information...

          http://netisopen.com/tomanychar.html

I even went as far as just typing my e-mail address and get the same.

To edit the sensitive items I will post the exact message received in regards to the WebRing data.

          Hi Robert,

We will look into the technical side of getting code posted on VodaHost,
but in the meantime, we recommend that you contact the VodaHost member
services/tech support to ask how to post code on your page.

          Thanks,

                Robert-
I fixed the form. I had it limited to 500 characters and your post went over that.

Anyway. How did you add it to the page? Open an HTML box or did you go to Page Html and add it to the "Inside Body" tag?

Also- did you try the web-ring help help links? If so - what did they say?

                    Re: Web Ring Issues !!!!

                    New situation here:

I am trying to create a Banner Exchange page to go onto the Martech site.

Anyone know of the best way to create such a page?

Never done work with banner exchange information and would like to have some sort of code that will show on page.

The initial page should have the following:

                    Welcome information:
Link to TOS: ( with a link that will direct the end-user to a sign-up page )
                    Link to Banner Page
                    Resources
                    Contact Us

Any help in creating such a page would be greatly appreciated.

                      Re: Web Ring Issues !!!!

How about when any one sends you an email using your form, after pressing send, they get directed to a thank you page that also asks them if they wish to have a link on this site. They can send you their link & take one of yours that you would have on that page. A lot more visitors will see your links. Try this page http://www.collectors-info.com/ & click on the (Place a link button) on the left & just pop in any old email address & send. You could then see what I mean. You can always have a link to this page ells ware on the site.

                      Just an idea.

If you make your own banner, adapted the code on my one to suite for your own.
Replace the red with you site address & replace the green with your image. The image must be on your site. Then just paste it into an html box.

                      <a href="http://www.collectors-info.com"target="_blank"><img src=http://www.collectors-info.com/banner250x50.gif boarder=”0”></a>
