Sites still resolve to old server

Everything appears to have moved without a hitch. The only problem is the DNS resolution still resolves to old IP ( and its still available ) . When will this issue be resolved as it is a mind bender when trying to work on sites based on old IP.
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research!

Changes not taking effect has nothing to do with the server migration. Its
the same old problem of your (home/office) computer caching.

            Will fix email flooding issue

Oh ratbags!! Just when I had the hang of it!!! Stuck now. Why did you have to go out and buy two new servers? Only joking - I'm sure they're very pretty!
I've downloaded the new Bluevoda. I've changed my DNS servers. (I've even uninstalled and reinstalled my FTP software but - when I try to connect with the new server I get a message which says "Address lookup of ftp://70.86.30.66 failed." I'm sure it's a simple problem (like me, obviously!) but..............help!!!

                  IP's

                  Got your email.
Don't understand any of it, but I think that if I've got the wrong numbers I have to reload bluevoda/Vodahost?
How do I check my previous IP numbers?

Corn - Corn, Corn, Corn --You are one of my favorite customers. Always posting
a problem and then figuring it out 3 minutes later. Its actually a bit funny.

Goffshirtsrus - Just down load the new BlueVoda from the above link and don't worry
                    about the rest.

                      Hi *****,

How do i go about using the new ip's. Where do i change them? The new BlueVoda i have downloaded as you stated still has the old ips when i go to publish.

Probably very simple but your urgent help would be much appreciated on this.

The new BlueVoda has the new IP's in it. If you do not know what to do with the IP's this means you never used them in the first place. (Good Thing) In a nutshell. You
                        have nothing to worry about.

Geezzz. I love it. Get a call 11:30 today, someone freaking out because they can't upload their league standings to the web. Normally, this wouldn't have been a problem, but Thirsty Thursday got the better of me last night, and 11:30 was too early. But anyway, to make a long story short, this little transfer did a couple of things to my site, and ftp accounts. My ftp account for league standings was pointing to --> /home/expo3/publc_html/updates instead of the new /home2/. Next was with my message forums. Didn't really mess with them too bad, they just didn't have a valid Theme directory to go to, so they weren't working right. Again with the /home2/ issue. All is well though.... Thanks...

                              New servers

I hate to criticise you guys as you do a great job, but it would have been nice to have had an email warning of the change.

There I was last night making some quick changes to the site, not noticing the new pages weren't uploading (message said as normal 'successfully published'. It was only when I had a bit of spare time this am that I looked at the forum, and then when I checked the site and found the changes hadn't updated it clicked!

I don't always have time to check the forum - so an email warning would have been good.

                              Cheers
