Everyone knows that I have a website videopostcards.info and to help me with my rankings, I am publishing an article and submitting them to open directories. Let's call the article "how to make a folder for your hard drive" inside that article I have 2 links - 1. "naming a folder" and 2. "moving a folder". these are 2 other articles that i have in my website and the link sends the reader from the open directories to the exact page on my website. Is this considered a link that google and yahoo would recognize as a bonifide link to your website? Please remember the article was written by Wits End Productions, which would also link to my website.

I always thought that a link was from one website, let's say vodahost.com puts a link on their website for videopostcards.info.
