    Hello,
    The Lakota regalia pic is still huge (electronically) 87+ kb's.
    I will squeeze it down in PhotoShop to apprx 30K without any noticeable change if you like?
    Contact me www.zone5pix.com/contactus.html and I will return it to you as an attachment.
    The home page took 9 sec's for it to fully load on my cable connection.

    Hi, You would have to upload 2 images to your site (1 Thumbnail & 1 large image) Then adjust the code below to suite your images & place in an html box on your page.
    Red = large popup link
    Mauve= size of large pop up (worth adding 20px to this part)
    Green = pop up position from top & left of screen on where it will show.
    Blue=thumbnail link
    Orange=is the thumbnail size.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    <a href=""#" onClick="window.open('http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/01.jpg', '','alt=some good alt text here, width=620, height=420, left=200, top=150,'); return false;""><img src="http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/tn_01.png" width=160, hight=106 border=0></a>

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    Cut and paste the code between the lines above, pop it inti a html box & press preview to test.

    Good luck.

    .

    Hmm, in deed tricky.
    I would love to give your idea a go, but could you help me with that?
    I don't really know how to do the two seperate?

    Cheers Chris, for your time and help, I really appreciate this :)

    Strange one? I tried a couple of test pages with jpg & png with different settings, & got the same as you have on your pages. The jpg's are ok & reducing. But the png's increase in size.

    As said earlier, with your size images it loads ok. But personally i would use 2 separate images as a pop up with some html code. Tend to get a better finish this way.

    Whats worth a quick look is to see that you have ticked the "Generate Thumbnail Images" in the gallery properties area.

    With the gallery.
    Could that be it? maybe the other 13kb is because of the gallery?

    It is a strange one. How are you placing the images on your pages.
    With just a pop up or the BV gallery?.

    Me again, I just checked the properties of those particular pictures. (on what the sizes are) but it tells me that they are the same size as the thumbnail??????
    Am I missing something here? how can they be bigger in size on my site, while they are the same size as my harddrive???
    I'm confusseled? ? ? ?

    Hi, your sites coming on well & got some nice things for sale. The only thing i found strange is that a lot of your thumbnails images are actually larger in KB's the the larger pop up it self.??
    IE: Thumbnail http://www.nativetreasures.co.uk/tn_...mmy_Singer.png is 40KB & the larger image
    http://www.nativetreasures.co.uk/221...mmy_Singer.jpg is only 27Kb
    This is on quite a few images.
    The pages still load quite well, but would be even faster with a little change. The ping images that you are using are a very good type of image to reduce down to 3 or 4 kb without loosing any quality.
