    Hi,

Did you make any progress on this issue?
Lots of free scripts available but I haven't had much success installing!
    Anybody have any ideas?

    Many thanks,
    Musky

    Re: UK Cookie Law

The US has required disclosure of an omnibus Privacy Policy (which for the most part also detail the site's use and policy of Cookies) and if transacting business online, a Transaction or Terms Policy also, each to be visibly accessible from every page on the website as mandated by the Patriot, Secure Identity, CANSPAM and Financial Fairness Acts which have all been LAW since 2005.

Being hosted in the US, all VodaHost hosted websites (and customers) need to comply on their own accord to these mandates, and not rely on a "custodial" posture or provision from a service (only) provider which has no liability for or inclination to interfere with customer website development.

    UK/EU Cookie Law

I haven't found a mention of this on the forums. In the UK we now have to tell users what cookies we are using on our sites and give them an opportunity to accept or reject these. Most sites are doing this in the form of a notice which appears once, and then disappears once the user has made the choice.

It would be good if BV could supply a script for this as it affects everyone with a website in the UK.
